Winki Energy, officially trading as Winki Solutions Pty Ltd and based in Torquay, Victoria, is a leading solar and battery installation company serving both residential and commercial clients across Victoria. They specialize in grid-connected, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems, as well as microinverters, power optimizers, EV chargers, and hot water heat pumps.
Founded by Steve Cox—a licensed electrician and CEC-accredited solar and battery specialist with over 17 years of experience—Winki Energy has grown rapidly. In the last year alone, they've installed over 8 MW of solar capacity, equivalent to around 20,000 panels. Their strength lies in their full in-house project delivery: with a team of 32, including 13 accredited electricians and 10 apprentices, they manage every installation phase themselves, ensuring quality control, safety standards, and excellent customer service without relying on subcontractors.
